The Private Motor Truck Council of Canada (PMTC) announced the winners of its 2018 Vehicle Graphics Design Awards last month during its annual general meeting (AGM) and conference in Niagara Falls, Ont.
This is the 33rd year for the awards, which are co-sponsored by 3M Canada and recognize colourful fleet graphics in the trucking community. While previous editions usually featured two awards and one honourable mention in each category, this structure was recently streamlined to include only one winner and one runner-up per category.
The following are all of this year’s winners:
Tractor trailer combination
- Award—Rosenau Graphics Department for Rosenau.
- Honourable mention—Twin City Graphics for Huber Motorsports.
Special events/Promotional
- Award—WTFC and Promotional Graphics for Sharp Transportation Systems.
- Honourable mention—Rosenau Graphics Department for Rosenau.
Straight truck
- Award—IDY for Levitt-Safety.
- Honourable mention—Motive Media for Alloro Fine Foods.
Light-duty
- Award—Unique Media Solutions for Durham Regional Police.
- Honourable mention—MYC Graphics for Cottage Country Dip.
Human interest
- Award—TDI Imaging for Trailer Wizards.
- Honourable mention—Rosenau Graphics Department for Rosenau.
Fleet identity
- Award—Resource Integrated for Bell Canada.
- Honourable mention—Twin City Graphics for Home Hardware (pictured).
