Pattison Outdoor Advertising and Onestop Media Group have celebrated the beginning of their 12-year partnership with the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) by unveiling life-size examples of new poster frames to be installed in subway stations.
A ‘City in Transit’ launch event was held in November, marking the first month of Pattison’s contract to sell ads throughout the TTC system. With the out-of-home (OOH) firm’s recent acquisition of Onestop, which operates digital signs in Toronto subway stations, media planners will now be able to buy print and dynamic ads through a single point of contact, for the first time.
“The Canadian marketplace is evolving quickly,” says Bob Leroux, Pattison Outdoor’s vice-president (VP) and general manager (GM). “Pattison has positioned itself to move with the market and provide new offerings and a strong transit network to help make our clients successful.”
Marketing campaigns under the agreement will begin appearing in the TTC system on January 2, 2012. Pattison’s transit ad portfolio now includes 30 markets across Canada, including Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Ottawa and Halifax, among others.
