Agfa Graphics has installed an Anapurna M2540 FB ultraviolet-curing (UV-curing) inkjet printer at Online Print Décor’s Posterjack shop in Toronto. The company says it is the first ‘true flatbed’ Anapurna printer anywhere in Canada.
Online Print Décor has been in business since 2009, printing graphics and custom artwork on posters, canvas, metal and acrylic substrates. Its Posterjack service sells direct to the public through an online ordering system, offering mounted prints, framed photos, peel-and-stick graphics and assorted gifts. Already, it reportedly produces more photographic art than any other company in Canada.
The M2540 flatbed can print six colours plus white at resolutions up to 1,440 dots-per-inch (dpi). It can handle a variety of substrates, including metal and acrylic, in sheets up to 2.5 x 1.5 m (8.3 x 5 ft).
