The Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) has appointed James Martin executive vice-president (EVP) for supplier and manufacturer relations. He will also serve as executive secretary for SGIA’s soon-to-be-launched supplier and manufacturer advisory council.
Martin’s experience in the printing industry includes more than 20 years with Heidelberg as senior vice-president (SVP) of marketing and product management and, more recently, the role of CEO with MBO America.
“James has grappled with the complex decisions that are made every day by manufacturers,” says Ford Bowers, SGIA’s president and CEO. “Few are as qualified to speak with his understanding and authority on the challenges facing the supplier community.”
