Print management systems win international award

Wide-format digital printer manufacturer Electronics for Imaging (EFI) has won the 2012-2013 International Print Technology Award from Deutscher Drucker, an industry magazine based in Germany.

Pictured left to right, EFI’s international public relations (PR) manager, Marc Verbiest, and general manager (GM) for Germany, Georg Hollenbach, accepted the award from Deutscher Drucker’s managing director, Bernhard Niemela, and editorial staff member, Kurt K. Wolf.

The award recognizes EFI’s integrated package of management information system (MIS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) and web-to-print technologies, which include software designed to streamline jobs—from calculation to dispatching—for conventional, digital and large-format printing.

“We are truly honoured to receive the International Print Technology Award,” said Verbiest. “We are committed to the continued development of these systems, which our customers use to integrate and automate their processes.”
