Kapta, which prints display graphics in Notre-Dame-des-Pins, Que., has upgraded its production department with an Acuity Advance wide-format printer from Fujifilm Canada.
The printer includes white ink and Fujfilm’s ColorGate raster image processor (RIP) software. It was selected to help improve Kapta’s productivity.
“Four years ago, we bought our first Acuity wide-format press,” says Denis Guertin, owner (pictured, left, with Fujifilm sales director Mace Hoover, right). “It has been a reliable, high-quality press for us, so we decided to expand our range of print offerings with a newer, faster model, with a more fully feature RIP and the ability to print white ink.”
Handling jobs from graphic design through to print production, Kapta is known for billboards, in-store signage, commercial graphics and custom display units.
