The National Association of Printing Ink Manufacturers (NAPIM) has honoured John Hrdlick, chief operating officer (COO) of Inx International, with a Pioneer Award. It was presented during NAPIM’s annual convention in April in Bonita Springs, Fla.

Hrdlick joined Acme Printing in 1977, which later became part of Inx, and he has since spent 36 of his 39 years in the industry connected to the company. He was elected to Inx’s board of directors in 2008, appointed senior vice-president (SVP) of field operations in 2009 and assigned responsibility to oversee Canadian operations in 2010.

In 2012, Hrdlick was promoted to his current position as COO, which involves overseeing all of Inx’s operating facilities across North America.

“John’s career is full of accomplishments and he is very deserving of this award,” says Rick Clendenning, president and CEO of Inx. “His hard work and dedication landed him a number of opportunities throughout the years and he responded by making the very best of each one. He has helped many people and is one of the most respected executives in the industry.”
