PRINTING United Alliance has announced two leadership changes aimed at driving innovation and supporting the growth of its events and services. Mark J. Subers has been appointed chief innovation officer, transitioning from his previous role as president of events and exhibition. Chris Curran will step in as group president of media and events, now overseeing the PRINTING United Expo.

The appointments are part of the organization’s “Alliance 2.0” strategy, which focuses on innovation, expansion, and member engagement. Subers will focus on long-term strategies for advancing the Alliance’s mission to lead the printing industry through transformative initiatives. Curran, who brings experience from previous roles in the industry, will guide the future of the Expo, which concluded in Las Vegas, Nev., in September.

Ford Bowers, CEO of PRINTING United Alliance, said, “Mark and Chris are exceptional leaders, both with a vision that aligns perfectly with the future we are building for our members and the global printing industry.”

In his new role, Subers will focus on innovative programs to strengthen the Alliance’s position in the global printing industry. Curran will lead the Expo, a key industry event for education, equipment, and networking, as it continues to grow and adapt to changes in the market.

These leadership changes mark a new phase in the Alliance’s efforts to provide value to its members and further position the Expo as a premier industry event. The organization continues to offer educational programs, research, and resources to support industry professionals across various market segments.
