Palboard is a new multi-layer substrate with extra-tough solid white polyvinyl chloride (PVC) outer surfaces and a lightweight black foam PVC core.
Palboard is made with high-quality recycled PVC, allowing the entire panel to be recycled. With its ultra-smooth white rigid surfaces, the material offers excellent ink adhesion and colour reproduction for digital or traditional printing applications. The black foam PVC core provides an attractive edge for signage, channel letters and wall-mounted displays.
The two solid PVC surfaces allow for double-sided printing and resist dents and scratches. No surface preparation is required prior to printing, saving time and money. To minimize wasted scrap, Palboard’s Everclean protective masking is standard on one side, to help eliminate fingerprints and dirt.
Palboard is easy to fabricate. It is suitable for die cutting, sawing, drilling, milling and routing. It can also be cold-bent with a V-groove cut and easily folded to 90 degrees, unlike other substrates. Combining the V-groove capability with rigidity and structural strength, Palboard offers fabrication and design options that are simply not possible with other multi-layer substrates.
