Inca Digital, which manufactures large-format flatbed inkjet printers in Cambridge, England, has received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade in recognition of its success in overseas markets, including Canada.

Since the company was founded in 2000, Inca has steadily expanded its manufacturing facility to meet global demand. The U.S. has consistently represented its largest overseas market, but significant growth has also been seen over the last five years in Canada (where its products are distributed by Fujifilm Graphic Systems), Brazil, Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic. Inca’s newest markets include Belgium, Korea, South Africa, Nigeria, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The Queen’s Award for Enterprise is considered the highest accolade in the U.K. for business success.

“We are immensely proud to have won this prestigious award,” says CEO John Mills (pictured, right, with founder Bill Baxter, left). “Although the market is highly competitive and trading conditions have been tight over the past five years, we have maintained our strategy and our printers are in demand around the world.”
