Red cube projection-mapped with Kia vehicles

Kia's interactive art installation designed to engage and surprise visitors made stops in Montreal and Vancouver before arriving in Toronto at Yonge-Dundas Square on October 15 and 16, 2016 (CNW Group/KIA Canada Inc.)Automaker Kia Canada’s ‘red cube,’ a 9.1 x 9.1 -m (30 x 30-ft) pop-up promotional installation featuring four 3-m (10-ft) translucent screens, recently wrapped up a cross-country tour in Toronto’s Yonge-Dundas Square.

Commissioned by Kia and created by Innocean Worldwide Canada, the interactive branded-art installation travelled from Vancouver to Montreal before making its last stop in Toronto on Oct. 15 and 16. The dynamic display featured digital projection mapping of Kia’s Soul, Sportage and Forte vehicles.

“The red cube is an ideal platform to showcase our achievements to date and our continued commitment to designing and manufacturing vehicles for Canadian families,” says Steven Carter, director of marketing.

Launched with a teaser campaign in each city, the red cube will continue to be featured in Kia’s advertising and events in 2017.
