Durst has enhanced its digital printing capabilities with the introduction of the Rho 1012 and 1030 continuous inkjet production systems.
The Rho 1012 (pictured, right) is equipped with new 12-picolitre Quadro Array printhead technology, which can reportedly produce up to 464.5 m2 (5,000 sf) of graphics per hour, allowing it to meet the same volume requirements as high-end lithographic applications. The machine can run in several modes, including fully automated stack-to-stack board printing, roll-to-cut sheet printing or roll-to-roll.
Meanwhile, the Rho 1030 (pictured, left), in its fully automated media handling and operating configurations, can print up to 929 m2 (10,000 sf) per hour for longer-run, higher-volume output.
