Roland DGA’s Demo Days Roadshow truck made the first stop on its nationwide tour at Pacific Coast Sign Supply in Damascus, Ore., enabling area print professionals to meet exclusively with product experts and see Roland’s latest digital imaging devices in action.
The two-day stop gave attendees the chance to set up pre-arranged appointments and interactive product demos, with safety and social distancing protocols in place.
“With physical trade shows cancelled everywhere due to the pandemic, partnering with Roland DGA allowed us to bring the latest products to prospective customers in a safe and effective manner,” said John Reinke, owner of Pacific Coast Sign Supply. “It created an excellent environment for demonstrating Roland’s newest technologies, and also allowed us to discuss specific customer needs and how these cutting-edge devices can help them build their business.”
Print providers were able to see recently introduced products such as the new TrueVIS VF2 wide-format printer featuring green and orange ink, the VersaUV LEC2 ultraviolet (UV) printer/cutter, the VersaUV LEF2 UV flatbed printer, and the IU-1000F high-volume flatbed printer. Attendees were also able to get hands-on with these devices to create souvenir items they could take home.
Roland DGA has released additional dates and locations for its Demo Days Roadshow schedule further into 2020, for a total of six stops so far and more coming soon. The next stop will be from Sept. 22 to 24 at the Sign Outlet Store in Lisle, Ill., followed by stops in Brooklyn Heights, Ohio; Wakefield, Mass.; Roanoke, Va.; and Orlando, Fla.
