Sales manager shifts from engravers to UV-LED printers

Direct Color Systems (DCS), which manufactures ultraviolet-curing (UV-curing) light-emitting diode (LED) printers that create braille and textured signage, has hired Jon Stone for the newly created role of dealer sales manager for North America.

Stone has nearly 20 years’ experience in building and managing strategic sales channels, most recently as director of international sales for sign engraving machine manufacturer Epilog Laser, which exposed him to many core markets, technologies and businesses relationships common to DCS.

“We are excited to bring Jon on board,” says Dave Pitzen, director of Canadian and U.S. sales for DCS. “He will work with me to ensure our current dealers are equipped with the tools they need to succeed. He will also be at the forefront of expanding our reach domestically.”
