The 1168.4- and 1397-mm (46- and 55-in.) dual-display signage allows retail businesses to feature content both toward the street and in-store in a single display.

Samsung recently launched its OMN-D series dual-display semi-outdoor signage for the Canadian retail market.

The display’s window-facing screen features bright visuals and prominent positioning to motivate passers-by to enter the store. Once inside, indoor-facing displays help enhance the shopping experience with content promoting sales, new merchandise, and additional information about the store and its services.

Samsung believes the series’ dual screens will allow retailers to maximize messaging while its single-display feature will help reduce equipment and installation costs, thus increasing operational efficiency, compared to installing two separate displays.

The display not only delivers crisp, clear images, but is also designed to maintain its picture quality even when exposed to direct sunlight—a common challenge for conventional in-window displays.

The displays feature dustproof IP5X-validation and three-step overheat protection for durable performance, along with their own embedded solution, MagicINFO S6 powered by Tizen 4.0, for streamlined content management.

The new semi-outdoor signage is optimized for a wide range of retail businesses from quick-service restaurants to department stores.
