Inca Digital has launched the Onset R40i, its latest wide-format ultraviolet-curing (UV-curing) flatbed printer, through an exclusive global distribution partnership with Fujifilm.

The R40i uses Fujifilm’s Dimatix Spectra printheads to deliver 14-picolitre drops and produce up to 400 m² (4,306 sf) of output per hour. It can be modified from a standard four-colour configuration with up to eight ink channels, including two for white.

A maximum printed resolution of 1,200 dots per inch (dpi) can be achieved on sheets up to 3.1 x 1.6 m (124 x 63 in.) and 50 mm (2 in.) thick, at a rate of up to 80 full-bed sheets per hour. The R40i also supports Inca’s Print Run Controller software for variable data printing (VDP) jobs.
