Seventh edition of Carte Blanche for Creatives seeks fresh OOH ideas
Astral Out of Home recently launched its seventh annual Carte Blanche for Creatives contest, inviting Canadian advertising agencies to design concepts for out-of-home (OOH) media. The deadline for entries is April 12.
Participants must design ads for specific OOH formats in each of three eligible markets (last year’s examples pictured), including vertical billboards for Montreal, transit shelter posters for Toronto and digital billboards in Western Canada (i.e. Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton). The top winner will (a) see his/her ad turned into an actual OOH campaign worth $50,000 and (b) receive a trip to the Cannes Lions International Festival in France. New this year are silver and bronze prizes—an Apple MacBook and an Apple iPad Pro, respectively.
