SGIA plans zone at Graphics Canada show

crop1The Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) will launch a new ‘specialty graphics opportunity zone’ at the 2015 Graphics Canada show, which will be held at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ont., next April.

As SGIA puts it, the specialty graphics industry currently centres primarily on digitally printed wide-format display graphics, but also includes areas like industrial printing and garment decoration. As such, the association’s free learning area at the show will showcase a wide range of applications, from vehicle wraps to T-shirts and from snowboards to circuit boards.

“The opportunities are strong and the possibilities seem limitless,” says Dan Mustata, show manager for Graphics Canada.

The show is scheduled for April 16 to 18, 2015, and exhibitors will include Fujifilm Canada, Grimco, Access Imaging, Roland DGA, Epson, Mutoh America and Esko, among many others.
