The Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) is currently accepting applications for its annual scholarship program. With the support of donations from endowment investors and industry leaders, the 2018 program will award US$2,000 to each of 15 students.
Applicants must be enrolled—or plan to enrol this fall—in full-time studies at an accredited college or university that holds an SGIA educational institution membership. This is the third year for the program, which has so far awarded five scholarships to Canadian applicants, all of whom were students at Ryerson University’s School of Graphic Communications Management (GCM) in Toronto.
Entries are evaluated based on scholastic achievements and awards, financial need, extracurricular activity participation and work experience. The deadline for applications is Apr. 30, 2018. For more information, visit www.sgia.org/scholarship.
