SGP elects new chair for 2018

[1]Jodi Sawyer, market development manager for Flexcon, which coats and laminates films and adhesives for wide-format graphic applications, has been named chair of the Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP) for 2018.

SGP anticipates passing a major milestone this year with more than 100 certified sustainable printing companies. The non-profit organization also conducts conferences, seminars, academic studies and information-sharing sessions to help develop more sustainable supply chains.

“I look forward to leading SGP at this very dynamic and exciting time in its development,” says Sawyer. “Sustainability is becoming a critically important part of the printing industry`s future and SGP’s certification is reaching greater levels of respect and attention.”
