Sheet plastics exec to oversee manufacturing transition

[1]Rowmark, which manufactures engravable sheet plastic for the signmaking industry, has hired Tom Miller and appointed him to a newly created role as senior vice-president (SVP) of operations.

Miller has more than 30 years’ experience in manufacturing and operations management. Most recently, he was vice-president (VP) of operations for Oldcastle Enclosure Solutions, responsible for 10 facilities in Canada and the U.S.

In his new role, he will oversee purchasing, supply chain management, engineering, manufacturing, maintenance and quality control for Rowmark and its custom extrusion division, Premier Material Concepts (PMC). He is also tasked with helping ensure a smooth transition to a new engravable sheet manufacturing facility, scheduled for completion in September.

“Tom’s expansive operations knowledge and expertise will be huge assets to Rowmark and PMC as we continue to grow,” says Duane Jebbett, president and CEO.
