As part of its 50th anniversary celebrations, channel letter and plaque manufacturer Gemini has announced the winners of two specially framed illustrations that pay tribute to the sign and recognition industries.

As the winners of a random draw, M&J Sign & Manufacturing and Perfect Image Sign were each awarded an original piece of artwork by graphic designer and illustrator Rick Kollath, as appeared in Gemini’s most recent catalogue (sample pictured).

“We are very pleased with the response we have received to the design of the catalogue, particularly the illustrations by Rick,” says Fred Oss, Gemini’s president. “The finished pieces will look fabulous wherever our winners decide to display them.”

Kollath designed 12 pieces in his signature gouache opaque watercolour, pen and ink style to show how Gemini’s products have been used over time.
