Sign shop franchisor honoured as business leader

[1]Catherine Monson, president and CEO of sign shop franchisor FastSigns International, has been named one of 2017’s recipients for Northwood University’s Distinguished Women Award. She and six other business leaders were honoured at a gala earlier this month.

Created in 1970 by the board of trustees for the school in Midland, Mich., the award program recognizes female role models for their contributions to communities, businesses, non-profit organizations and public- and private-sector services around the world.

“It’s an honour to be recognized among Northwood University’s past and present recipients,” says Monson. “It was also exciting to meet the students and be part of this year’s Distinguished Women celebration.”
