Signage Foundation appoints first full-timer

budev[1]The Signage Foundation has hired Sapna Budev as executive director. She becomes the not-for-profit educational organization’s first full-time staff member, responsible for best practices, public outreach, academic engagement and other efforts.

Budev was previously director of strategic initiatives for the International Sign Association (ISA), a position that involved her in membership, professional practices and trade shows. In 2013, she and ISA collaborated with the Signage Foundation on the publication of the Urban Wayfinding Planning and Implementation Manual.

“Sapna will enable us to greatly increase our presence as a research and education foundation, says Duane Laska, chair of the Signage Foundation’s board. “We are excited to have her passion and enthusiasm guide our operations.”
