Toronto-based environmental graphic design (EGD) firm Entro created a signage program for the 2014 Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) Under-20 (U-20) Women’s World Cup, which ran from August 5 to 24 in four Canadian cities.

The program included wayfinding signs to direct visitors, participants, staff and volunteers around each of the event’s four stadiums in Edmonton, Toronto, Montreal and Moncton, N.B., as well as FIFA and team hotels and parking lots. Entro began with site research and surveys before developing complementary designs and integrating FIFA graphic standards.

In 2015, the EGD firm will reprise its role for the FIFA Women’s World Cup, which will also extend to stadiums in Vancouver, Winnipeg and Ottawa.
