Silicon Valley IT exec joins wide-format printer manufacturer

Wide-format digital printer, ink and software provider Electronics for Imaging (EFI) has hired Sheri Rhodes as chief information officer (CIO). Joining the company’s senior leadership team, she reports to senior vice-president (SVP) Toby Weiss.

Rhodes joins EFI from Symantec, where she served as vice-president (VP) of global applications. Her other experience in California’s Silicon Valley includes information technology (IT) leadership roles for Visa, Providian and Washington Mutual.

“EFI has exciting opportunities ahead to drive the print industry’s transformation from analogue to digital,” she says. “I am excited to help continue improving its IT framework, which remains a key advantage in how we deliver products and services.”
