Vancouver-based PacBlue Printing, primarily known for small-format copying and reprographics, is making more room for its burgeoning large-format signage department, which was launched six years ago.
The company has reorganized its departments across two locations. At its new 2,415-m2 (26,000-sf) headquarters (HQ), administrative offices are flanked by the large- to-grand-format printing department. The extra space has accommodated the installation of a second Océ LightJet printer to produce portable graphic displays, backlit posters, point-of-purchase (POP) displays and trade show exhibits, among other photographic-quality large-format output.
The small-format and reprographics department remains in an existing building closer to Vancouver’s downtown core.
Founded nearly 60 years ago, PacBlue also plans to enter the digital signage market in the future.
