[1]Roland DGA added three new materials to its lineup of large-format inkjet-printable media for fabric and wall décor applications.
SoftSign woven polyester, available in 0.8 x 30.5-m (2.5 x 100-ft) or 1.4 x 30.5-m (4.5 x 100-ft) rolls, is specially coated for use in eco-solvent inkjet printers. The 100-per-cent polyester fabric is significantly lighter than vinyl banner material, making it less expensive to ship. It can be used for banners, trade show graphics, short-term outdoor signage and point-of-purchase (POP) graphics.
WallFlair removable fabric (pictured) is adhesive-backed for repositionable application onto interior walls in retail environments, offices and homes. The 0.17-mm (6.7-mil) thick fabric is available in 0.5 x 15.2-m (1.7 x 50-ft), 0.8 x 30.5-m (2.5 x 100-ft) and 1.4 x 30.5-m (4.5 x 100-ft) rolls.
Finally, WallFlair removable vinyl is a 0.15-mm (6-mil) thick calendered, fire-resistant matte white vinyl with an acrylic, pressure-sensitive, removable adhesive. It can be applied to most non-textured flat or painted wall surfaces, wallpaper or wood panelling, leaving no messy residue when removed. It is available in the same roll sizes as the removable fabric.
