X-Rite, which develops colour measurement and management systems, software and services, has donated a new Ci7860 spectrophotometer to the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) for use in its lab.
The device will be used in demonstrations during colour management and measurement workshops, as well as for a variety of other AATCC projects related to test method development and material quality control. It will be available to corporate members who visit the not-for-profit industry association’s technical centre at Research Triangle Park in Durham, N.C.
X-Rite has been an active corporate member of AATCC itself since 1994. The Ci7860 spectrophotometer is designed to ensure accurate and consistent colour control by minimizing inter-instrument variations.
