Roland SOLJET XF-640[1]

The 1.6-m (64-in.) wide SolJet XF-640 is Roland DGA’s fastest large-format printer to date, reportedly producing up to 102 m2 (1,098 sf) of output per hour.

To achieve its higher speeds, the printer uses mirrored printheads, newly designed take-up and pinch roller systems and a new heating system for drying graphics. Two end cups on the take-up system’s two main support bars are designed to prevent distortion during printing by keeping the media holder in the correct position at all times.

The SolJet XF-640 uses Roland’s Eco-Sol Max 2 ‘eco-solvent’ inks to print banners, vehicle wraps, window graphics, posters, point-of-purchase (POP) displays, trade show graphics, backlit displays and other signage.
