[1]The Anapurna M2540 FB from Agfa Graphics is an entry-level ultraviolet-curing (UV-curing) flatbed inkjet printer designed to accommodate the growing market need for graphics on rigid substrates, from signs and displays to architectural and interior décor.
With a quick-change vacuum bed, the M2540 FB can reportedly produce up to 45 m2 (484 sf) per hour of graphics on substrates up to 2.5 x 1.5 m (8.3 x 5 ft) and up to 45 mm (1.77 in.) thick. It can print cyan, magenta, yellow, key/black, light cyan and light magenta (CMYKLcLm) and white inks onto non-traditional materials like glass, ceramics and wood.
The system’s 11 retractable register pins help simplify accurate positioning of substrates, particularly when working on double-sided jobs.
