Pattison Outdoor Advertising recently unveiled the first fully wrapped Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) ‘super train,’ featuring graphics advertising Bahamas Tourism.
Planned by VMC Media, the project marked the first time one of the TTC’s newer six-car fixed-configuration super trains has been fully wrapped, with printed graphics extending along a total length of 133 m (435 ft). The trains run exclusively on Toronto’s Yonge-University-Spadina line.
“Pattison is proud to reveal this campaign for the first time on the TTC’s newest model of subway train,” says Bob Leroux, Pattison’s central region vice-president (VP) and general manager (GM). “Bahamas Tourism has chosen an extremely effective way to communicate warm hospitality and colourful culture to hundreds of thousands of riders.”
The campaign continues inside the train with standard horizontal posters above passengers’ seats, ‘super’ posters and vertical posters on either side of the subway doors.
The campaign began on November 14, 2013, and will continue into February 2014, with additional transit advertising in Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, Edmonton and Winnipeg, plus office-building digital signage advertising in Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa and Edmonton.
