panamsign1[1] panamsign2[2]Ontario’s government is arranging more than 5,000 temporary signs across 16 municipalities to help direct spectators to the Toronto 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games’ events with sport pictograms, arrows and venue codes.

The signs’ three-letter codes correspond to venue information on tickets, in spectator guides and in the games’ trip planner app. Municipal governments and public transit agencies will install, maintain and remove the signs on the province’s behalf.

“This signage will help visitors find their way around with confidence and ease,” says Saäd Rafi, CEO of TO2015, the games’ organizing committee.

Metrolinx, the transportation agency for the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA), will also produce approximately 800 signs for the Government of Ontario (GO) Transit network.
