[1]The Jeti TitanX moving-table flatbed press from Agfa Graphics is intended both for the high-resolution printing of point-of-purchase (POP) displays and backlit graphics to be viewed close-up and the higher-productivity output of general display graphics.
The ultraviolet-curing (UV-curing) wide-format platform can switch between four- and six-colour imaging quickly on a job-to-job basis. In both modes, eight dedicated printheads can add white ink as needed.
Built on a steel frame, the 3.1 x 2-m (10.2 x 6.6-ft) flatbed table is scanned by an optical camera to create a map of the imaging area, to help optimize dot placement and minimize unwanted variations, whether printing in one or two directions.
