Astral Out-of-Home, a division of Bell Media, transformed Toronto transit shelters and a billboard with ‘special execution’ additions to promote CTV’s Sept. 21 premiere of the TV series Designated Survivor, starring Canadian actor Kiefer Sutherland.
The out-of-home (OOH) campaign was developed by Bell Media Agency, which represents CTV and other Bell-owned properties. Street furniture was decorated with images evocative of both the new conspiracy thriller series and next month’s U.S. presidential election.
One of the transit shelters (pictured, right), for example, was made to resemble the White House with a roof, pillars, blue carpet and podium, while the billboard (pictured, left) alongside Toronto’s busy Gardiner Expressway was also enhanced with a White House roof and U.S. flags.
