IMG_3595[1]Wide-format inkjet printer and cutter vendor Mutoh America’s ValueJet 426UF ultraviolet-curing (UV-curing) light-emitting diode (LED) printer won the International Sign Association’s (ISA’s) Best New Product Award at the 2015 International Sign Expo earlier this month.

Customers and industry professionals were able to vote for the award in the months leading up to the expo, right until April 10. The award was accepted by Mutoh’s vice-president (VP) and general manager (GM), Brian Phipps (pictured).

“We always stand behind the quality and care that go into our printers and this award upholds that,” he says. “We’d like to thank everyone who voted.”

The ValueJet 426UF can print up to six ink colours—including white and varnish—on substrates up to 70 mm (2.75 in.) thick, including three-dimensional (3-D) objects like golf balls, awards and smartphone cases.
