Vehicle wrap contest winner announced

Printer/cutter vendor Roland DGA has announced the winner of its Race Experience Challenge, who will tour the Richard Childress Racing (RCR) campus and graphics centre, meet professional race-car drivers and attend motorsports events later this year.

Mark Caron of MHC Sign and Design in Payson, Utah, won the trip after writing a testimonial explaining how Roland equipment had helped his business. Submitted through the ‘Born to Wrap’ page on Facebook, Caron’s entry was judged the “most compelling.”

“From the dozens of enthusiastic entries we received, Mark’s stood out, illustrating the passion our customers have for their work and our products,” says Rick Scrimger, vice-president (VP) and general manager (GM) of Roland DGA. “We look forward to sharing the excitement of the sport with him. Few racing organizations have accomplished what RCR has, with more than 200 victories and 14 championships, including six in the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) Sprint Cup Series.”

Caron’s motorsports ‘trip of a lifetime’ to Charlotte, N.C., will take place in mid-October.
