Inkjet printer/cutter supplier Roland DGA is sponsoring a new vehicle graphics contest, whereby wrap specialists in Canada and the U.S. will compete to win a professional racing-themed grand prize.
From now through July 31, sign shops can enter the Roland Race Experience Challenge to win a trip for two to Charlotte, N.C., in October to tour the Richard Childress Racing (RCR) graphics centre and attend a series of local motorsports events, with access to RCR’s hospitality suite. The winner will also receive an autographed photo with an RCR driver.
“We’re proud to be an official sponsor of RCR and look forward to sharing all of the excitement of pro racing with our contest winner,” says Rick Scrimger, Roland’s vice-president (VP) of sales and marketing.
“We’re excited to give a behind-the-scenes look at everything we do to prep for a race,” says Nick Woodward, RCR’s graphics manager. “As fellow wrap professionals, we know just how involved and demanding this business can be.”
To enter, Roland customers can visit a ‘Born to Wrap’ page on Facebook and provide a brief testimonial about how the company’s equipment has helped their wrapping business thrive. The most compelling story, as judged by Roland and RCR’s representatives, will win the grand prize.
The winner will be announced on August 6.
