VENDO Media Inc. has announced the acquisition of digital and static media assets from Harvco Signs in Medicine Hat, Alta. The acquisition includes six digital and three static billboard assets, aligning with VENDO’s ongoing expansion strategy within key Canadian markets, particularly Alberta.
VENDO, a leader in Canada’s out-of-home (OOH) advertising industry, provides national scale and regional market coverage across 100-plus markets, making it one of the country’s broadest-reaching digital out-of-home (DOOH) media companies. It now operates more than 400 DOOH media assets, offering a combination of digital and non-traditional advertising channels in office towers and indoor venues. This recent transaction expands VENDO’s owned digital billboard assets from 37 to 72, adding to a network reach of more than 300 partnered digital media assets nationally.

Harvco Signs, a well-established OOH and DOOH company with a history rooted in Medicine Hat and southern Alberta, also expressed satisfaction with the transaction. “VENDO has been a key partner in our growth over the past years, and they share our dedication to supporting local businesses and non-profit organizations. We are confident that VENDO will continue these efforts within the Medicine Hat community,” stated Harvco principals Len Blackman and Mike Davis.
The acquisition was completed on October 24.
