[1]The expansion of the University of Toronto’s (U of T’s) Joseph L. Rotman School of Management, including a new wayfinding and donor recognition program, was recently honoured as a 2014 award recipient in the Governor General’s Medals in Architecture program.
Taking what it calls a minimalist approach to the building’s wayfinding signs and donor, Toronto-based environmental graphic design (EGD) firm Entro blended channel letters, printed graphics and digital signage into KPMB Architects’ overall concept.
Created by the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC) and jointly administered by the Canada Council for the Arts, the Medals in Architecture program recognizes outstanding achievement by Canadian architects in recently built projects.
