Patrick Chapuis, president of Océ North America’s wide-format printing division, has been promoted to president and CEO of the entire organization, succeeding the retiring Joseph Skryzpczak.

In his new role, which came into effect on January 1, Chapuis has responsibility for Océ’s North American sales, marketing, service, operations, finance and support functions. In addition to the wide-format division, which serves the display graphics, engineering, architectural and construction markets, the organization includes document and production printing systems divisions.

Chapuis began working for Océ—which is now part of the Canon Group—in France after holding positions with Kodak and Danka Office Imaging.

“Patrick is well-qualified to lead the largest operating company of the worldwide Océ group,” says Rokus van Iperen, who chairs the group’s board of executive directors. “He has decades of experience in both wide- and narrow-format printing in North America and Europe.”
