Wide-format inkjet printer and cutter manufacturer Mimaki’s Americas division has hired Ken VanHorn (left) for the newly created position of marketing and business development director and promoted Vernon Jones (right) to sales promotion manager.
VanHorn joins Mimaki from HP, where he managed an industrial products and workflow portfolio. He was also previously a product manager for EFI, Roland DGA and Encad. In his new role, he is responsible for marketing strategy, planning, communications and promotional activities.
Jones started his career with Mimaki in 2008 as an application manager and quickly progressed to sales promotion supervisor. Before joining the company, he had a background in digital photography and imaging. He will now lead the sales promotion team.
In additional recent personnel changes, Mimaki has appointed Bob Burkhardt and Charles Hughey remote service technicians and Tadashi Isaka service business manager.
