Wide-format printing GM adds VP duties

[1]Mutoh America, which manufactures large-format piezoelectric printers and cutters, has promoted general manager (GM) Brian Phipps to handle additional responsibilities as vice-president (VP).

Phipps has worked for Mutoh since 2004. In his new role, under the direction of president Hisayoshi Aoki, he will work more closely with Japanese parent corporation Mutoh Industries on product development, oversee sales in both North America and Latin America and provide input to help shape the company’s future direction.

“It is an honour to be recognized with this new title and responsibility,” says Phipps. “I appreciate the opportunity to help this company any way I can.”
