International Data Corporation (IDC) has hired Tim Greene as a research director. He will lead IDC’s large-format printer market research and contribute to its digital signage and three-dimensional (3-D) printing research.
Greene has more than 15 years’ experience in market research. Most recently, he was director of wide-format printing consulting for InfoTrends, producing substantive annual forecasts and primary research studies and measuring manufacturers’ market shares.
“Tim is a well-known analyst and in high demand as a trusted advisor and presenter in the large-format market,” says Keith Kmetz, vice-president (VP) of IDC’s imaging, printing and document solutions research team. “We are excited he has decided to bring his business development and consulting skills to IDC.”
