IMAGE 1On Feb. 15, a special Family Day event at Toronto’s Evergreen Brick Works achieved a new Guinness World Records title for the largest cookie mosaic, with more than 13,000 shortbread cookies forming a giant map of the world.

The mosaic was assembled by a Robin Hood Flour baking team and youth ambassadors for We Day, an annual initiative of Free the Children, to help encourage children across Canada to host bake sales to raise funds for the charity. The map highlighted countries where the ‘We Bake for Change’ campaign has made a difference so far.

Once the title was achieved, the mosaic was taken apart and all of the individually wrapped cookies were shared with event attendees and local food banks.
