The gigantic Harmon Corner digital screen in Las Vegas, Nev., has been converted to use Montreal-based BroadSign International’s newest digital signage software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform to manage out-of-home (OOH) advertising content.
At 18.3 x 94.5 m (60 x 310 ft), the continuous full-motion light-emitting diode (LED) display is longer than a football field and larger than 27 typical highway billboards put together. Situated along Las Vegas’ main strip, it has featured campaigns for Cirque du Soleil, McDonald’s, Rolex and Pepsi, among other high-profile brands.
Branded Cities Network (BCN), which operates the sign, has previously used BroadSigns’s content management software for some of its smaller digital signage applications.
“We could not be more pleased with BroadSign’s software,” says Scott Elliot, BCN’s vice-president (VP) of sales. “We selected it to power Harmon Corner for its ability to distribute content to multiple platforms, precise reporting and the BroadSign’s services department’s unique method for handling large-format digital displays with pixel counts over 30 million.”
