Self-adhesive film manufacturer Avery Dennison Graphic Solutions has announced a new series of wrap installation classes—including two sessions in Canada—that will be taught by certified graphics installer Justin Pate.

The Supreme Wrapping Film classes follow up on a series of workshops in 2012 that were co-sponsored by Avery and wide-format printer vendor Mutoh America. The new tour will reach Toronto on June 6 and Abbotsford, B.C., on June 13, where Pate will visit the facilities of Proveer and BR Wraps, respectively.

Each one-day intensive workshop is open to up to 15 students with intermediate to advanced skills and will cover how to section film economically, how to wrap vehicles’ door handles, mirrors and compound curves and how to price and sell wraps.

“An installer needs a thorough understanding of how each type of film behaves and a high skill level to achieve professional results,” says Pate, who has also written for Sign Media Canada in the past.
