Patrick Collins has been appointed to the board of directors for Montreal-based X2O Media, which develops visual communications software for digital signage systems.
Collins has experience in the media, telecommunications, transportation and manufacturing sectors. He was most recently CEO of LexisNexis Canada, which provides online information for professionals in the legal, risk-management, government, corporate, law-enforcement, accounting and academic markets.
Earlier, Collins was president of CityMedia Group and executive vice-president (EVP) of newspapers for Torstar. He was publisher of The Hamilton Spectator and VP of finance for Southam Newspaper Group. He began his career at General Electric (GE) Canada.
